With its new live talk show ‘Casino Talk with Jennifer Bosshard’, the Grand Casino Luzern is expanding its cultural programme to include a high-quality, contemporary stage show. From March 2026, the well-known presenter Jennifer Bosshard will regularly host personal conversations with prominent guests from the worlds of entertainment, culture, business and society at the Casineum Luzern.
Once again this year, the Grand Casino Luzern is supporting people in Central Switzerland who are in need of assistance.
The traditional Blackjack Charity Tournament took place on 19 November 2025 in an intimate and exclusive setting. This year’s charity event was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the LZ Christmas Campaign, one of the most significant regional solidarity initiatives in Central Switzerland.
On 19 September 2025, the Grand Casino Luzern officially opened its new Poker Circle, creating yet another highlight for poker fans.
A Bounty Hunter tournament was held to mark the opening, which proved a huge success: 85 players took part, with a total prize pool of CHF 17,250. Of this, CHF 5,750 was paid out as bounties, with the remaining CHF 11,500 distributed among the top 17 finishers.
The 35th Poker Circle Swiss Open at the Grand Casino Luzern has concluded. From 6 to 10 August 2025, poker enthusiasts from Switzerland and numerous other countries, including Canada, gathered at Lake Lucerne to take part in one of Switzerland’s most prestigious poker tournaments.

▪ The new licence and the operating permit granted in autumn 2024 secure the company’s core business for at least another 20 years.
▪ Despite major challenges, the Grand Casino Luzern Group is cautiously optimistic about the future. The Board of Directors and management are pursuing profitable, sustainable growth through various initiatives.
The suspense is over! As part of the Grand Casino Lucerne’s ‘Bella Italia’ promotion, the first car jackpot has been won. One lucky winner walked away with a brand-new Fiat 500 – all amidst the unique casino atmosphere on Lake Lucerne.

Lucerne, 11 November 2024 – The Grand Casino Lucerne is commissioning a new photovoltaic system on the lakeside promenade. In doing so, it is sending a clear signal in favour of sustainable energy supply. The PV system was planned in close consultation with the cantonal heritage authorities and the city architect.

As every year, the sum of CHF 12,500 will be donated to the Luzerner Zeitung’s Christmas campaign.
There is cause for celebration at the Grand Casino Luzern Group: the Federal Council today approved the licence application for the land-based casino in Lucerne and the associated online casino, mycasino. The long-established Central Swiss company can therefore continue to operate its existing Grand Casino in Lucerne and the online casino mycasino with certainty until 2044. A proposed new casino in Sion, however, was not approved by the federal government.

▪ With gross gaming revenue of CHF 92.89 million in 2021, the Grand Casino Lucerne Group is Switzerland’s leading casino operator.
▪ The parent company, Kursaal-Casino AG Lucerne, significantly increased its operating revenue and net profit in 2021. The Annual General Meeting approved a dividend of six Swiss francs per registered share and participation certificate.
▪ Alongside the positive figures for the last financial year, the upcoming renewal of the casino licences was the dominant topic. The casino aims to have the existing licence for Lucerne and for the online casino renewed until 2044, as well as to tap into new casino markets.
